Succulent: Euphorbia 'Crown of Thorns'
Latin Name: Euphorbia milii
While shrub-like in appearance, this plant is part of the succulent family. The woody, thorned stem send out vibrant blooms and thick leaves. Religious lore maintains that the stems of this euphorbia were use for the Crown of Thorns Jesus wore at the crucifixion. This succulent is native to Madagascar and comes as shown in a 4" standard terra cotta pot.
Light requirements: Full sun to part-sun (6-4 hrs per day)
Water requirements: Allow soil to fully dry out between watering (every 7-10 days). Soak when watering until water flows through the pot's drainage hole.
