Houseplant: Fern 'Variegated Brake'
Latin Name: Pteris ensiformis 'Evergemiensis'
The variegated brake fern is recognizable by its beautiful ornamental foliage that has a cream-white center and white lateral veins radiating into dark green fronds. The plant comes potted in one of our Snug Harbor Farm Ada Urn terra cotta pot, designed by owner Anthony Elliot and hand thrown by potters.
Light requirements: Bright-indirect to low light.
Water requirements: Water once or twice a week, depending on light and humidity, and keep soil evenly moist. Soak until water flows freely through the drainage hole. This plant prefers humidity so you can mist between waterings.
